3 Days Kenya Safari to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Ol Pejeta is one of the prime sanctuaries of Laikipia Plateau and all of the Big Five are present. Its highlights include the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa; a population of southern white rhino; a refuge for the last two Northern white rhino left in the world; and Sweet waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, housing orphaned and abandoned chimpanzees. It’s the only Laikipia reserve where day visits are possible. A range of activities is available, including night drives, lion tracking and guided bush walks.
Pick up and drive North through huge pineaple, coffee and tea plantations to Ol Pejeta Conservancy with a brief stop at the equator line for photography. Arrive at the Sweet Waters Serena Camp check in and have lunch. Later go for an afternoon game drive. Visit the Sweet Waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary to see the Chimpanzees. Chimps are not native to Kenya. They are rescued from different parts in the world and brought here. Proceed with the game before returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.
You spend full day exploring the vast conservancy ( 90,000 Acres). Various wild animals are found here. Black Rhinos, White Rhinos, Giraffes, Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Hippos, Zebras and more. it is a refuge for the last three northern white rhino left in the world.
Lunch will be at the Sweet Waters Serena Camp as well as dinner and overnight.
On final we have an early morning game drive before breakfast. This will give us a chance to catch the African sunset while in the park. hopefully catch up with the big cats and other animals before returning for breakfast. Prepare to checkout and return to Nairobi. Arrive in good time for drop off at your city hotel or airport.
